Hitesh Steel

We've been at this spot near Alankar Cinema 28 for quite some time now. Dealing with steel isn't exactly a quiet job, but we've gotten used to it. Most days start early, before the first movie even shows next door. We keep Hitesh Steel running from this small space, and it gets pretty crowded with all the inventory. People ask how we find things in here, but there's a system even if it looks messy to someone else. It's mostly just us doing the work, cutting metal and loading trucks. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything, just some old desks and the smell of iron everywhere. The neighbors are alright, even if the traffic gets bad when a big movie is playing at Alankar. Sometimes we just sit outside for a bit when things slow down. It’s hard work, moving heavy pipes and sheets around all day long. My back usually hurts by five o'clock. But it’s what we do. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity, just a local shop where you can get your steel and get on with your day. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They come in, we talk about the weather or the news, and then we get to the business side of things. It’s a simple life, honestly. Nothing too special about it, just a lot of steel and a lot of work. I think we will be here for many more years to come because we like the rhythm of it.
