Suraj Metal Corporation

So, we are over here at Charni Road, specifically on 2nd Carpentre Street. It’s house number 21. If you know this part of the city, you know it is always a bit of a squeeze with all the shops and the people moving around constantly. We have been running Suraj Metal Corporation from this spot for a while now. It isn't some fancy showroom with glass doors or big signs. Mostly it is just us surrounded by metal scraps and inventory. The shelves are usually pretty full of different parts and it can get a bit loud when things are being moved or trucks are loading. My desk is usually covered in papers and some old tea cups from the morning. We spend most of the day talking to people who come in looking for something specific for their repair work or a project. Sometimes the weather gets really humid here, and it makes moving the heavier stock a bit of a chore, but that is just how it goes in this neighborhood. We do not really do any fancy advertising. People just find us. Usually, a neighbor or someone down the street told them to stop by here. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the right metal to whoever needs it. It is a lot of manual work and sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is kept. You learn to live with the noise. It is just a regular local business trying to keep up.
