Metal Udyog (India)

We are located over at Metal Udyog (India) in the Khetwadi area. Specifically, our shop is in the Allarkhia Building, number nine, on the 4/A side. Khetwadi is a really busy part of town, always lots of noise and trucks and movement outside on the streets. We have been in this particular building for a long time now. It’s an older place, but it holds up well for what we need to do. Inside, it’s mostly just us working with metal and keeping track of our various orders. There’s a lot of history in these narrow streets. You can hear the sounds of the city coming right through the windows most days of the week. We don't have a big marketing department or any of that fancy stuff. It’s just us. We focus on getting the orders out and making sure the metal is handled right. Sometimes the hallways in Allarkhia Building get a bit crowded with deliveries and crates, but we manage to get through. It’s just the way things are in this part of India. We know the neighbors and they know us. If you’re coming by to see us, it’s easy to get turned around in Khetwadi because all the buildings look similar, but just look for building nine. We’re usually there early in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it’s served us well enough over the years. No complaints really.
