Sun City India

Sun City India is tucked away in the Hind Shopping Centre, specifically at Shop No. 5 on the ground floor. The address is No. 57/59 Baniyan Street in Pydhonine, which is a very old and crowded part of the city. If you’ve ever walked down Baniyan Street, you know how narrow it is and how much is going on at once. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s located right where the action is. We spend our days dealing with customers who come in looking for specific items, and our shelves are packed tight to make use of every inch of space. It can get quite hot in the shopping center, especially when it’s busy, but we’ve got our little stool behind the counter and we manage just fine. There’s a lot of shouting and haggling in the street outside, which is just the way things are in Pydhonine. We’ve been at this ground floor location for a long time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around us. It’s a simple business without any of the bells and whistles you see in the big department stores. We just open the shutters in the morning, dust off the counters, and wait for the first customer of the day. It’s a steady life and we don’t feel the need to change much. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, right here in the shopping center.
