Stylex

Stylex is over in Kandivali West, right across from the telephone exchange in the Chabria Building. It is a pretty recognizable building if you live in this part of Maharashtra. We’ve been at number 10 for some time now. The office is usually a bit of a mess with paperwork and samples scattered around, but we know where everything is. Being near the exchange means the area is always buzzing with people and traffic. Most of our days are spent coordinating things and making sure everything is moving on the right schedule. It isn't a flashy setup by any means. We have some old wooden chairs and a few computers that have seen better days. The light in the afternoon hits the front window quite hard, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down halfway to keep the glare off our screens. Our staff is mostly local people who have been with us for years and know the business inside out. We don’t do much fancy talk here. We just show up, handle the orders, and head home when the shutters go down at night. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the entrance a bit slippery, so we have to be careful with the boxes. Lunch usually happens all together at the big table in the back room. It’s a simple way of working that really suits us. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we just want to get the job done right for everyone.
