Stride Computers

Stride Computers is located at Shop No 3 in the Raj Heritage Tower, over in the Judicial Layout of Borivali West. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with monitors, keyboards, and stacks of old motherboards. We’ve been here for a while, helping people get their computers working again when they decide to stop. We aren't a big retail chain. It’s usually just a couple of us behind the counter with a screwdriver in hand. The shop is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of spare parts just in case someone needs a fix for an older machine. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood drop off their laptops on the way to work. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive advertisements. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. We spend a lot of time cleaning out dust and trying to figure out why a particular software isn't loading right. It’s practical, everyday work. Sometimes we get busy and there’s a bit of a wait, but we try to be honest about how long things will take. We don't use any complicated jargon. If a hard drive is dead, we just say so and show you why. It’s a simple shop in a busy part of Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and fix what’s broken, one machine at a time. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
