We are located at No. 008 in the Shanti Nagar Industrial Estate. It’s right there in Vakola, Santacruz East. If you are heading towards the Grand Hayat, you are basically right next to us, though our building is much more modest. Stiff Collar Apparels Private Limited isn't about luxury lounges; it’s about the noise of the industrial estate and getting shirts and clothes packed up. The estate itself is always humming with activity. You see workers moving crates and bikes parked everywhere in the lanes. Our unit is on the ground floor, which helps when we have to move heavy boxes in and out. The air is always a bit dusty, and the lights are those long tubes that flicker sometimes. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Despite being so close to the big fancy hotels, our world is mostly about thread counts and stitching. We don’t have a marketing team sitting in a boardroom. It’s just us figuring out the schedules and making sure the cutters and tailors have what they need. Some days are chaotic when a big shipment has to go out, and we all end up staying late. It’s just the way things go in Santacruz East. We like the location because it’s central, even if the traffic on the bridge nearby is a total nightmare most evenings. It takes us a while to get home sometimes.
