You will find us on S.V Road in Malad West. We are in the Saraf Udyog Bhawan on the first floor, room 111. It is a busy building with a lot of different businesses. The lift is often slow, so we usually just take the stairs. S.V Road is always packed with cars and rickshaws. The noise from the traffic comes right through the windows. Steamline Industries Ltd sounds big, but we are just a regular office setup. We have desks, computers, and a lot of files. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We have been here for a long time now. Most of the staff has been with us for years. We know each other’s families. We start the day with a quick talk about what needs to be done. There is a lot of paperwork because of the industry we are in. We keep the tea kettle going all day. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait for the technician. It is just the usual office life. Malad is a crowded place, but it is where everything happens. We are used to the pace. We don't do any flashy things here. We just process the orders and make sure the accounts are right. It is a practical way to spend the day. Some evenings the sunsets are nice from the balcony if the smog isn't too thick.
