Status Fashions

Status Fashions is located in Status House, which is on the 2nd floor over in Lathiya Rubber Gally. This is right on Andheri Kurla Road in the Sakinaka area of Andheri (e). If you’ve ever been to Sakinaka, you know how hectic it is. The traffic is constant and there’s a lot of noise from the industrial units nearby. Our building is right in the middle of all that. Getting up to the second floor is a bit of a workout because we don't always use the lift if it’s busy with goods. We have a fairly large space where we do the manufacturing. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a factory floor. There are stacks of cardboard boxes waiting to be taped up and rows of machines that have been running for years. We have a lot of different people working here from all over the city. The air is always a bit heavy with the smell of fabric and machine oil. We don't spend time on fancy decorations or branding. Our focus is just on getting the orders out to the shops that buy from us. We’ve been in this gally for a long time, and we know the other guys running businesses in the building. It’s a tough environment but we like the energy of it. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily rush as it comes. It is a loud place but it’s home for us.
