Sreelakshmi Impex

Sreelakshmi Impex is based on the 4th floor of Birya House. That’s at 265 Bazar Gate Street, right in the Fort area. Being on the 4th floor means we spend a lot of time waiting for the lift or walking the stairs when it’s busy. The Fort area is always buzzing with people and noise, and our building is no different. We handle a lot of the paperwork and logistics for importing and exporting from this office. It’s a compact space, mostly filled with desks, computers, and stacks of files. You can hear the city sounds from the windows all day long. We don't have a showroom here, just the office where we coordinate everything. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding parking on Bazar Gate Street because it is so narrow and crowded. It can be a bit chaotic during peak hours. We’ve gotten used to the fast pace of this neighborhood though. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking emails to see where shipments are. It’s a lot of staring at screens and making sure the documents are correct. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks like squeaky floors and dim lighting in the hallways. We just get on with the business at hand. It’s a practical spot for being in the middle of the trade district. We have coffee and tea in the corner for when the long hours start to drag on.
