Spider International

Spider International is up on the third floor of the Thakkar Industrial Estate in Mazgaon. It’s unit number five, right on Champsi Bhimji Road. We’ve been here for a while now. The building is older, but it works for what we do every day. Dealing with the traffic around Mazgaon can be a bit much sometimes, especially when shipments are coming in or going out. Most of the staff live nearby, so they know the shortcuts around the industrial estate. We spend most of our time getting things organized and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a busy spot. The office isn't anything fancy, just desks, some storage, and people working. You can hear the sounds of the industrial estate from the windows all day. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans that help. Working in an industrial area like this means you see a lot of the same faces every morning at the tea stall downstairs. We just do our work here and go home. There’s always stuff to sort through or boxes to move around. It's just a regular workplace where everyone knows their job and gets it done. The elevator in the building is a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs to the third floor anyway.
