Spice Tree

Down in Bandra West at number 95, things move pretty fast. It’s a lively neighborhood, so there’s always something going on right outside our doors. The kitchen here is where most of the work happens. You can hear the pans clanking and the water running from the moment we get in to prep for the day. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The tables are usually full by the evening, and it gets a bit noisy with everyone talking over their meals. We try to keep the spices organized, but things get messy when the orders start piling up on the hook. It’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and checking the heat on the burners. We’ve had some of the same customers coming in for years, and they usually sit in the same spots if they can. The building itself is older, so it has its quirks, like the door that squeaks a bit if you don't push it right. We spend a lot of time cleaning up at night, making sure the floors are mopped and the counters are clear for the next morning. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from start to finish. We don't do anything too fancy, just the regular stuff people expect when they come to Bandra West looking for a bite to eat. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
