Something Fishy Fresh Foods Private Limited

Our office is up on the third floor of Shri Sai Corporate Park in Goregaon West. It is right on the Mahakali Temple Road, which is always busy and loud. Mumbai is a fast place, especially when you are dealing with fresh foods like we do. Something Fishy was started because we wanted to handle the supply of fresh items better in this part of the city. We aren’t actually out on the boats ourselves, but we do all the coordination and planning from here. The 400090 area is quite central for us to reach different parts of the city quickly. It gets very noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we are just focused on the orders. Freshness is the main thing we have to worry about every single day. If the timing is off by even an hour, nothing works. We have a small team here in room 303. We drink a lot of tea and spend most of the morning on the phone with the markets. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of stressing over delivery vans and ice levels. We don't use big words or have fancy board meetings. We just need to know what is coming in and where it is going. Being in Mumbai City means things move quick, and we have to keep up. It is a practical business. We have been at this location for a bit now and the locals know us. We just do the work.
