Solanki Furnishing Mattress Shop

If you come down to Gala No 1 near Gate No 7 in Tunga Vil, you’ll find our mattress shop. Solanki Furnishing is right there in the Powai area, not too far from the big L and T Company campus. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the construction and the trucks moving around the industrial estate, but we’re used to it. Inside the gala, we have stacks of mattresses piled up high. It smells like new fabric and foam most of the time. We spend our days moving things around to make space or showing people the different thicknesses we have in stock. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the big fan blowing full speed. Being near the L and T gate means there’s always people walking by, mostly workers or folks living in the nearby colonies. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass windows, just the open shutter and the goods ready to go. Sometimes the delivery tempos block the entrance, and we have to shout a bit to get them to move. It’s a hands-on kind of job, and we’re usually covered in a bit of lint by the time evening rolls around. We’ve been in this gala for a while now, and everyone in the Tunga Vil area knows where to find us when they need a new bed for their home. It's just a simple shop run by regular people who work hard every day to get the mattresses out to the customers.
