If you head over to Sompuri Market in Santacruz, you’ll find us at shop number 14. We are right on Santacruz West S V Road, not far from City Plaza, which is a landmark most people use to find us. The shop is usually full of half-opened laptops and computer parts scattered across the workbenches. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit messy when we have a lot of repairs coming in at once. My tools are always laying out because there is always a screw to tighten or a motherboard to check. Santacruz is a loud place, and the traffic on S V Road never really stops, so we have a constant background noise of horns and engines. People bring in all sorts of machines, some very old and some brand new but broken. We try to figure out what’s wrong and tell them straight. There’s no point in making it sound more complicated than it is. Most of the day is spent troubleshooting software or replacing parts that have given up. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on tiny components. We’ve been in this market for a while now, so we know many of the other shop owners around here. It’s a decent place to work, even if the air conditioning struggles sometimes when the sun is hitting the front glass. We just keep fixing what comes through the door.
