Sneha Gems

If you find yourself in Gundavali Lane No.3 in Andheri East, that's where you'll find us. We are tucked away in Amarnath Apts., specifically in unit 307/B. Sneha Gems has been operating out of this spot for quite a bit. It’s a small place, really, not like those big stores you see in the malls. We spend most of our time looking at stones and dealing with the usual daily tasks that come with running a business on M.V. Road. It’s a busy area, always a lot of noise from the street and the traffic, but inside it stays fairly quiet so we can focus on the small details. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we handle the orders and talk to people who come by specifically looking for us. Some days are slower than others. We might just sit and organize the inventory or chat with the neighbors in the building while we have our tea. Dealing with gems is interesting, though it takes a lot of patience. You have to have a good eye and not be in too much of a hurry to get things done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, with new shops opening and closing, but we’re still here in the same corner. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and equipment, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best as we can every day. It’s a simple setup.
