Smith International

Our office is over at 124-B in Mittal Court, which is part of the 224 Nariman Point area. It’s a tall building and we’re somewhere in the middle of it all. It’s a busy spot with lots of other businesses around us. We spend our days at Smith International doing a lot of international coordination. There’s always someone on a call or typing away. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. The elevators in Mittal Court can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floor. We usually start the day with a bit of coffee and a look at the emails that came in overnight. Being at Nariman Point means we’re close to everything, which is handy. The office itself is just desks and computers and a few filing cabinets that are getting a bit too full. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is being organized. You can see a bit of the sea from some of the windows if you stand in the right spot. It’s a good place to be, even if it gets a bit hectic. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s tasks, making sure everything is done.
