At Smart Computers & Repair, we are located at Shop No. 8 in the Sonal Link Building. This is right at Mith Chowki on the New Link Road in Malad West. It is a busy spot with lots of vehicles and people going to work. We spend most of our days looking at screens and opening up computer cases to see what is going wrong inside. Repair work is never really the same two days in a row because every machine has its own problems. Malad West is a huge area, so we get people coming in from all over the place. The Sonal Link Building is easy enough to find if you are driving down the New Link Road. Our shop is small and usually filled with cables, keyboards, and various parts waiting to be used. We just sit at the workbench and try to get things working again for the folks who bring them in. It is not a glamorous job, just a lot of technical work and trying to figure out tricky issues. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive, which can be frustrating, but that is how it goes. We stay busy with the sounds of the Mith Chowki traffic in the background. It is a practical business and we just focus on the hardware in front of us. Most of our time is spent with a screwdriver in hand or testing out software on different laptops. We see everything from broken hinges to systems that just won't boot.
