Skantronics Corporation

Our small business, Skantronics Corporation, is located in the busy neighborhood of Andheri East in Mumbai. You can find us at Mukund Nagar, specifically at G-1 along the Marol Pipe Line. If you have ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the traffic and shops nearby. We have been operating from this little spot for quite a while now. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s a ground-floor unit where we keep all our tools and electronic parts. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but we don't mind much. We spend most of our hours fixing things and managing orders. We aren't a big company with hundreds of workers. It’s just a small team of us who know electronics well. Every morning we open up the shutters and start on whatever work came in the day before. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website that costs a lot of money. Most people just walk in or call us because they know we are here. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, but we usually manage to stay open. It is a very practical, hands-on kind of workplace. We just do our tasks, talk to the locals, and head home when the sun goes down. There is always plenty to do and we just take it one day at a time.
