Gandhi Readymade

Gandhi Readymade is located at No. 4 Premniwas on NSM Road in Sion East, over in the Mannady area. It is a pretty busy part of town, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for quite some time. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a lot of inventory onto the shelves. Most of our day is spent helping people who walk in off the street or organizing the stock that just arrived. We don't have any fancy displays or expensive furniture. It’s just wooden counters and racks full of clothes. Sion East is a place where people are always on the move, so we try to be quick and helpful without making a big fuss. We aren't experts in fashion trends or anything like that; we just know what people in this neighborhood like to wear. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when too many people come in at once, but we make it work. We’ve known some of our neighbors for years, and it feels like a real community around here. We don't put out big ads or try to convince anyone we are something we aren't. We are just a local shop selling ready-made clothes to anyone who needs them. It’s a simple business model that has worked for us. We open in the morning, do our best, and close up when the sun goes down.
