Silkina Apparel Manufacturing Co. Private Limited

We are based in Wadala Udyog Bhawan, specifically unit 328. It’s an old industrial building on Naigaum Cross Road. The area gets pretty busy during the day with all the trucks coming and going, unloading rolls of fabric and picking up boxes. Inside our space, there’s always the constant hum of machines running and people talking over the noise. We’ve been here for a long time now, so the walls have some scuffs and the floor is definitely worn down in the spots where everyone walks. Most of the other business owners around here know us because we’ve stayed in the same spot for years. It’s not a fancy office or any kind of corporate showroom. Just a regular place where we get the work done. The sunlight comes in through the big windows in the afternoon, which is nice, though it does get quite warm in the summer months. We have a few rows of long tables and some metal racks for the finished clothes. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up or is occupied with heavy goods, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s just how things go in these older Wadala complexes. We don't really have a decorative entrance, it’s mostly just the manufacturing side of things here. If you are trying to find us, we’re a short walk from the main road. The security guard at the gate usually knows where we are if you ask for Silkina. It's a practical setup for us.
