We are tucked away behind building 24 in Pantnagar. It's right near the railway police quarters in Ghatkopar East. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you aren't from around here, but once you see Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Nagar, you're pretty close. We focus on women's clothes here. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few sewing tables and a lot of fabric rolls sitting everywhere. Sometimes the noise from the railway area is a bit much, but we got used to it over the years. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a local spot where we put things together. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces of cloth by noon. We try to keep things simple. No fancy showroom or bright lights. Just the machines humming and us working through the piles of orders. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the ceiling fans going full blast all day long. Most of the ladies around the neighborhood know where we are. We've been at this address for a bit now. It's a crowded neighborhood, very busy all the time with people walking by. But it's home for the business. We just do our work, pack the orders, and send them out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until the sun goes down and we lock up for the night. We aren't looking to become famous, just to keep the machines running and the work coming in steadily.
