Shyam International

You can find us at 56, Ashoka Super Market on the ground floor. We are right near Patkar College in Goregaon (W). Being in a market like this means we are always in the thick of things. There’s a constant stream of people passing by, and the noise from the street never really stops. Shyam International has been in this shop for quite a while. It’s a small space, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. We deal with international trade, which usually means a lot of time spent on the phone or waiting for news from the shipping agents. It’s a bit of a contrast, being in a local market while talking to people in completely different time zones. We don’t have a lot of room for fancy displays, so the walls are mostly covered with shelves full of files and samples. Usually, there’s a couple of us here, sitting behind the counter and managing the daily grind. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It’s a very practical way of doing business. We don't use big words or complicated strategies. We just keep track of our orders, talk to our contacts, and make sure the goods get where they are supposed to go. It’s been our way of life for years, and we don't plan on changing it anytime soon.
