Shyam Computer

Shyam Computer is based in Malad East, specifically at E/1/201 in the Shiv Krupa Building. We are near Tipco Heights, which is a big residential area. Our shop isn't on the ground floor, so people have to come up to find us. It is a lived-in kind of space. We have computers in various states of being repaired all over the place. Some are open with wires hanging out, and others are just waiting for parts to arrive. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of spare parts stored in boxes stacked against the walls. The lighting is okay, but we use extra desk lamps when we are working on the small circuit boards. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come in, you’ll probably find someone hunched over a keyboard or talking on a mobile phone to a supplier. We try to keep things organized, but when we get busy, the paperwork tends to pile up on the main desk. Malad is always bustling, and being near Tipco Heights means there is a lot of activity around the building. We’ve got a small balcony where we sometimes step out for a breath of air when the soldering fumes get too strong. It’s a simple, honest setup for fixing computers. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
