Shweta Kariya

My workspace is over in Andheri East, specifically in the Amartaru Building. It's room 301/7, just off Jehangir Daji Lane and right across from Chinai Collage. If you're familiar with the college area, you know it's always full of students and quite a bit of noise from the street. Shweta Kariya is the name on the door, but it’s really just a small, functional space where I get my work done. It’s not a big corporate floor. It’s just a few rooms where we handle our daily business. I’ve been in this building for some time now. The elevator is usually a bit slow, and the hallway can be a bit dim, but once you’re inside, it’s comfortable enough for us. We have some plants by the window to brighten things up, though they probably need more water than they get. My day usually involves a lot of reading and typing, with the occasional meeting when someone drops by. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. It’s a very grounded way to work. Being in Andheri East means we are close to everything, which is handy for errands. We don't put out ads or try to sound bigger than we are. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they were already in the building for something else. It works for me.
