Our office for Shubhleen Int. is tucked away at A/3 Nasibenbai House on Kajuwadi Chakala Road. If you are looking for us just head to Andheri East and go behind Hotel Maharaja. It’s a busy part of town and the road is always full of cars and delivery bikes. The building itself is quite old and has that specific smell of an old Mumbai construction. We are in a small unit where we handle all our business matters. There are files everywhere and the desks are pushed close together to save space. It gets quite humid in the afternoons so we keep the windows open even if the street noise comes in. We’ve been here for some time now and know all the other shopkeepers in the lane. Sometimes we have to step out onto the balcony just to get a bit of air. The tea vendor comes around twice a day and his cutting chai is what keeps us going. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or leather chairs. It’s just a place where we come to work and deal with whatever comes our way. Sometimes the monsoon makes the road outside a bit of a mess with puddles everywhere. We just wear our slippers and get on with it. It’s a practical little spot in a very hectic neighborhood. We stay busy with the phones ringing most of the time.
