Shri Krishna

We are located at 121 Balaji Layout, right on the 6th Cross of Ring Road in Kandivali West. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. Shri Krishna has been a part of this neighborhood for a while now. We started because we saw a need for a place that just served simple, honest food. The kitchen isn't very big, but we manage. You’ll often find one of us standing out front just catching a bit of air between tasks. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just have our kitchen and the people who come in. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn down from all the walking back and forth. We don’t mind. It shows we’ve been busy. Most of our customers are people who live right here in the layout. We know their names and what they usually like to eat. It makes the day go by faster when you can have a quick chat with a neighbor. We don’t use any pre-made stuff if we can help it. Everything is done by hand, which takes longer, but it’s the only way we know how to do it. It’s a modest living, and it’s a lot of hours on our feet. But we like being here in Kandivali. It’s home for us, and we plan on staying for as long as we can. We just keep cooking and serving.
