Our place is at 215, New Anant Bhuvan, at 257/65 Narshi Natha Street. This is right in the middle of Bhat Bazar in the Masjid Bunder area. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and old buildings. Shree Shivam Clearing Agency operates from this office, and it’s a busy life. The area is constantly filled with carts, trucks, and people carrying heavy loads on their backs. Our building, New Anant Bhuvan, is quite old, and you have to navigate through the crowds just to get to the entrance. Inside the office, it’s mostly stacks of papers, customs forms, and ledgers. Clearing work involves a lot of waiting and a lot of documentation, so there is always someone checking a file or talking on a mobile phone. The noise from Narshi Natha Street never really stops during the day. We have fans going all the time to keep the air moving. It’s a very functional space; we don't have any decorative plants or fancy furniture. Everything is there for a reason. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time, so they know the chaos of the bazaar doesn't stop us from getting things done. We spend a lot of time coordinating with the port and transport guys. It’s a bit of a grind, but we like being right in the heart of the trade district where all the action is.
