Our office is in the Bussa Industrial Estate over in Worli. It’s an old-school Mumbai industrial building on Century Bazar Lane. Finding a parking spot around here is almost impossible, so we usually just take the train or a cab. We are up on the third floor in unit 315. The building has those big heavy freight elevators that take forever to arrive. Inside, it’s a mix of an office and a small storage area. We handle marketing for various things, but it’s mostly just us sitting at desks and making calls. It’s not like the glamorous marketing offices you see on TV. There are boxes of samples stacked in the corners and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We like the location though, because it's close to the main business districts. Lunch usually comes from one of the small stalls downstairs. We’ve been in this estate for quite some time now, so we know the security guards and the other tenants. It’s a steady rhythm of work. We get in, handle the orders, talk to our clients, and try to beat the evening rush hour on the way back. It’s just regular office life in the heart of the city. We don't really have fancy meetings or anything, just honest conversations over the phone or in person. It keeps the business moving along without too much stress.
