Shree Mahalaxmi Trade Impex

Our office is inside Adinath Apartments on Tardeo Road. It’s room A-105, so it's a bit like a home converted into a workspace. Shree Mahalaxmi Trade Impex has been running out of this spot for a good while. Living and working in the same general area makes things easier, though Tardeo Road is always packed with people and cars. We handle importing and exporting various goods, which means we spend a lot of time on the computer and the phone. It's mostly checking prices and making sure shipping documents are correct. Since we are in an apartment building, it’s a bit quieter than a big industrial park, which we like. We have stacks of files everywhere because the paperwork for trade never seems to end. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We don't have a big showroom or anything. People usually call us or send an email first. It's a small team, just a couple of us sitting at desks. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for calls from suppliers. Dealing with customs and shipping lines can be frustrating, but that’s the nature of the business. We try to keep our heads down and just get the work done. The space is a bit cramped with all the samples lying around, but we know where everything is. It’s a honest way to earn a living and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this place.
