Shree Gajanan Bags

Our shop, Shree Gajanan Bags, is situated right opposite Family Stores in the MIDC area of Mahalunge, Dadar West. Being in Dadar means there is always a crowd and something going on. We have been in this spot for a while, tucked away in unit 4. We focus on bags that people actually use every day, nothing too flashy or unnecessary. My uncle started this place and now I help run things. It is a small space, so we have to be clever about how we stack the inventory. Every morning starts with a quick sweep and then we start arranging the display outside. We don't use any fancy sales talk here. If a bag is good, it’s good. We look at the zippers and the handles because those are the parts that usually break first. Customers from around Mahalunge know they can find us easily because we are right across from the big store. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We deal with a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know we are honest about what we have in stock. We don't have a corporate office or a team of managers. It is just us, a few chairs, and a lot of bags. We like it this way because we get to talk to people directly.
