Shopper Mandi

Shopper Mandi is over at Shop No. 4/5 in the Usha Kunj building. We are right opposite Takshila Building No. 5 on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a pretty active part of the city. People are always moving up and down the road, heading towards the caves or the offices further down. Our shop isn’t massive, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of our mornings unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves. It’s a lot of physical work, making sure everything is where it should be. The door stays open most of the day, so we get a lot of dust from the road, but that’s just how it is in Andheri. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions because this part of Mahakali Caves Road can be a bit confusing with all the building numbers. We know most of the people who live in Usha Kunj and the surrounding buildings. It’s a lot of regular customers coming in for their daily stuff. The lighting inside is just regular tube lights, and it gets a bit cramped when we have a delivery arriving, but we make it work. It’s a straightforward shop for the local community, and we’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a big sign to tell people what we do. It's just a regular local business.
