You can find us at 119 in the Damji Shamji Industrial Complex. It’s just off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. Being in an industrial complex means there’s always something going on around us. There are trucks loading and unloading, and the sound of machinery from the neighboring units is constant throughout the day. It’s a bit of a concrete world here, but it’s where Shobha Advertising calls home. Our unit isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit in all the desks and equipment we need for the daily grind. The walls are a bit plain, and we have samples of work pinned up everywhere with tape just to keep track of things. It’s not a polished agency with a fancy lounge or a coffee machine. Most of the time, we’re just sitting at our screens or talking on the phone with suppliers. The elevators in the building are often slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot of the time. It keeps us moving during the day. During lunch, we usually head out to the local stalls on Mahakali Caves Road to get something to eat. There’s a lot of energy in this area, even if it’s a bit grimy. We like the honesty of an industrial area. There’s no pretending here. You come in, you do your work, and you deal with the chaos of Mumbai traffic on the way out. It’s a routine we’ve followed for years now.
