We spend most of our time at Mastermind Building Number 1 in Royal Palms. If you know Goregaon East, you know it is a bit of a green spot because of Aarey Colony. It is usually a bit quieter here than the rest of Mumbai. Our small team handles the fruit and food processing daily. We have been in this unit at 105 for a while now. Most mornings start with checking the crates that come in and making sure the machines are cleaned up. It is a lot of manual work really. Sometimes the traffic getting into the colony is a mess but once you are inside the building it is fine. We aren't a giant factory or anything, just a regular processing unit. We have people from around the neighborhood working here. Some days are busier than others depending on what fruit is in season. We just get on with the work and try to keep things moving. The building has other offices too but we mostly stick to our corner. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. There is a small chai stall nearby where everyone goes during the break. That is pretty much how our days go here in Goregaon. The process is simple and we don't have many fancy gadgets in the office area. It's just a place where we do our jobs and go home.
