Shivam Steel Arts

Shivam Steel Arts is located over here in Dadar West, specifically at 287 Safalya on S K Bole Road. Most people around here just use the Portuguese Church as a landmark when they're trying to find us. Dadar is always crowded, as anyone who lives in Mumbai knows well. Our workshop stays quite noisy because of the work we do with steel. It's not the kind of place where things stay quiet for long. We've been at this spot for some time now. The street outside is always full of people heading to the station or the market. We spend most of our hours surrounded by metal and tools. It's dusty work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be some big showroom. It’s just a practical space where things get made. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the door during monsoon, but we just put a bucket down and carry on. That's just how it is in an old building like Safalya. We know the tea stall guy nearby pretty well, and he keeps us going with cutting chai. It’s a straightforward life here. We focus on the metal, the measurements, and getting things out the door on time. No fancy speeches or big promises, just the sound of steel being worked on from Monday to Saturday. There is always a lot to finish before the sun goes down.
