You’ll find us in Kailash Plaza, specifically at 418. We are right above the Raymonds showroom in Ghatkopar East. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the showroom landmark. We handle exports, which means lots of phone calls and emails to people in different time zones. Our office isn't very big, but we make it work. There are always boxes and samples lying around. We spend a lot of time checking shipping schedules and making sure documents are right. It’s a lot of detail work. Sometimes it gets stressful when a shipment is delayed, but that’s just the nature of the job. We aren't a giant firm with hundreds of employees. We are a small team that knows the business inside out. We grab chai from the vendor downstairs twice a day. The plaza is always busy with shoppers, but up here on the fourth floor, it’s a bit more focused. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for years and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We don’t have fancy brochures or a glossy image. We just do the work and try to keep our clients happy. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes a while, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job in the export world. The windows give us a view of the street traffic. We stay until the work is done, sometimes quite late. It’s a steady way to make a living.
