We are based out of room 108 in the Creative Industrial Estate. It’s located on Road No. 2 in Sunder Nagar, which is part of Kalina in Santacruz East. If you know Mumbai, you know how these industrial estates are. They are a bit cramped and always full of activity. We’ve been here for a good while, managing our export business from this small office. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it. The stairs are narrow and there’s always someone moving boxes in the hallway. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, talking to people in different time zones. Exporting takes a lot of patience with all the forms and shipping schedules. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic from the main road, but we’re used to it. Our team is small, just a handful of us sitting at our desks. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the workload. Sometimes the internet acts up or a shipment gets stuck at the port, and those are the stressful days. But mostly, it’s just a steady flow of work. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just run our operations from this corner of Kalina and try to get things sent out on time. It's a bit of a maze here, but we like it.
