The shop is over here at 6 Devichhaya on 9th B Main Road. It’s a busy spot in Kalyan Nagar, right in the H R B R Layout near Prabhadevi. I spend most of my mornings cleaning up the space and getting things ready before the sun gets too hot. It isn't a fancy place, just a workspace where things get done. People walk by all day, and sometimes the traffic on the main road gets pretty loud. I’ve been working from this corner for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly involving flowers and arrangements that people ask for. Some days are slow and I just sit by the door watching the street. Other days, the floor is covered in leaves and cut stems and there's hardly room to step. I don't really have a big team or anything, just a few hands to help when it gets crowded. Being in Prabhadevi means you see all sorts of folks. We keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. It's a lot of manual work, getting your hands dirty and making sure things stay fresh in the heat. There’s no big secret to it, just showing up every day and doing the work as it comes. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we just have to wait around. That’s just how it goes here.
