If you head over to Gorai Road in Borivali West, you’ll find us inside the Manas Shopping Mall. It’s a bit of a weird spot for an export company, being in a mall, but it works for us. We’ve been here at Sava Exports Ltd for a few years now. The space is okay, enough room for our files and the few computers we use to track shipments. Borivali is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We spend most of our time coordinating with different vendors and making sure the crates get to where they’re supposed to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, especially with the international stuff, but we manage. The mall has its perks, like being able to grab a quick snack nearby when we’re working late. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a practical place to run a business. We handle a lot of different goods, so every day feels a bit different. One day it's one thing, the next it’s something else entirely. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The locals know the building well, so it’s easy for people to drop by. We’ve grown used to the hum of the air conditioner and the sounds of shoppers passing by the corridor.
