You can find us at Satvika Organic Food in Ville Parle East. We are on the ground floor of Meenal Apartment, which is right on Shradhanand Road. A good landmark is the Navin Bhai Thakkar Hall across the street. We deal with organic products, mostly food items that people want for a healthier lifestyle. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We have bags of grains, jars of honey, and different types of oils lining the shelves. It smells quite earthy inside because of all the natural products we keep in stock. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers to see what is fresh and available for the season. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes to get everything delivered on time, especially during festival seasons when the roads are blocked. Ville Parle is a busy place, and Shradhanand Road gets a lot of walkers throughout the day. We see a lot of elderly folks who have lived in the area for decades. They usually stop in for a chat while they shop for their groceries. We aren't trying to be a fancy health boutique. We just want to provide good food to the people around here. The lighting in the shop is a bit dim, but it stays cool even in the summer. We keep our own records in a big ledger book. It is a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us.
