Satish Perfumers

We are located in the Shalimar Industrial Estate, specifically at 12-B. It’s part of the M.L. Camp area near King’s Circle. The estate is always buzzing with activity from the other units. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. At Satish Perfumers, we spend our time working with different scents and bottling them up. The air inside our unit always smells like a mix of everything we’re working on. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about where we put things. We have a few old machines that we use for the packaging. They’re a bit temperamental but they still work fine if you know how to handle them. My father started this years ago, and we’ve just kept it going. It’s mostly manual labor, pouring and sealing. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner for the bills. The floor is concrete and we wear boots because things can get messy sometimes. We usually have our lunch together in the small break area we cleared out. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving. It’s a steady rhythm we’ve got going. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment needs to go out. We just take it as it comes.
