Sartaj Paint Brushes

We've been running Sartaj Paint Brushes out of Jogeshwari West for quite some time now. It's a small operation, mostly just us and the machines making sure the bristles are set right. Jogeshwari is always moving and loud, so we fit right in with the noise of the workshop. We make different kinds of brushes depending on what people are looking for. Some are for big walls and some are smaller for the detail stuff. It’s mostly just dusty work. We spend a lot of time sorting through materials and packing things into boxes. My uncle used to say that a brush is only as good as the person holding it, but we try to make sure they don't fall apart after one use. The shop isn't much to look at, just a place where we get the work done every day. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the workshop here in the west side. Most of the local painters know where we are. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and work until the orders are finished. It’s a steady job. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of construction going on nearby. We just keep our heads down and focus on the wood and the bristles. We don’t have fancy marketing or anything, just our tools and our time. That’s really about it for us.
