D G Decorators

You will find D G Decorators on S V Road, right across from the Asha Parekh Hospital in Santacruz West. It is a very busy street, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside our doors. We have been doing decorations for a long time now. It started out as a small thing and just grew over the years. We have a lot of fabric, lights, and frames stored away. Most of our work happens on-site at various halls and homes around Santacruz. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. It is physical work and your hands get dirty. We do not have a glossy brochure to show people; we usually just show them photos on our phones of what we did last week. Being near the hospital means we have to be a bit careful with the noise when we are loading up late at night. We do weddings, religious functions, and sometimes just small home parties. We are not some high-end design firm with fancy titles. We are just decorators who know how to tie a knot properly and make a room look decent for a party. People in the neighborhood know us and they just stop by when they have something coming up. We try to be helpful and give people a fair deal. It is a simple business built on being around for a long time and knowing what works and what does not. (254 words)
