Sark Designer

We set up Sark Designer in Borivali East a few years back. Our spot is in the 2nd Stage, specifically at A-2, which is where we spend most of our time. It’s not a huge place, but it works for what we do. We mostly focus on sketches and trying to figure out how things should look before they actually get built. There’s usually coffee spilled somewhere on the table and a lot of paper scraps lying around the floor. We aren't really the type to wear suits or give big presentations with fancy slides. We just sit down, listen to what someone needs, and then try to draw it up. Borivali is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our window. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We’ve had some long nights working on projects, especially when deadlines are tight and the drawings aren't coming together. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just design work, plain and simple. If we can make a space look a bit better or more useful, then we’ve done a decent job. We know the local area well since we’ve been at this address for a bit. We just keep our heads down and keep working on the next thing. That's the way we like to run things here at A-2, no fuss and no stress. We are just designers trying to make things work.
