Y Z Embroidery

Our workshop is in the Shubhangini Building, specifically Plot No. 51 on the 1st Floor, Flat No. 8. We are right on Milan Subway Road. If you know this area, you know that the subway gets flooded every time it rains heavily, which can make getting to work a bit of a challenge during the monsoon. We do embroidery here, using machines that run for most of the day. The sound of the needles hitting the fabric is like a constant hum in the background. It is a first-floor flat, so we don't have to climb too many stairs. We have several big frames set up for the more detailed work. The lighting is quite bright because we need to see the small stitches clearly. My brother and I run the place and we have a few skilled workers who have been with us for a long time. We handle all sorts of designs, from simple patterns to more complicated ones. The space is filled with spools of colorful thread in every shade you can imagine. We usually have the radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we work. It is not a very big operation, but we stay busy enough with the local orders. We prefer to just keep our heads down and get the stitching done correctly without making a big fuss about anything else.
