S. L. Clothing Pvt. Ltd.

We are located in Room No. 1 of the Ram Naresh Chawl, which is right on P. M. Road in the Khotwadi area. It is a tight space but we make it work for S. L. Clothing Pvt. Ltd. There are always rolls of cloth and patterns laying around the room. Since we are in a chawl, we see our neighbors every day and it feels like a real community here. People are always walking past the door. We do a lot of our cutting and sewing right in this small space. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and keep working. We are not some big factory with thousands of workers, just a dedicated group in a local spot. The address is easy to find if you know P. M. Road. We have been here for a good amount of time and the locals know what we do. Sometimes we have to move stuff out to the corridor when a big delivery comes in because room number one fills up fast. It is a lot of manual work and paying attention to the details of the clothes we are making. We don't have any fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. It is a humble way to run a clothing business but it keeps us busy and the work gets done.
