Amez Clothing Inc.

You can find Amez Clothing Inc. over on S. V. Road. We are inside the Dheeraj Heritage building, specifically on the first floor at number 26. Being near Milan Subway means there is always traffic and people moving about. It’s a good spot, though, because everyone knows where the subway is. We spend most of our time here surrounded by different fabrics and half-finished samples. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the threads and cuttings on the floor, but that is just how a clothing place looks when work is happening. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It is more about the actual work of getting clothes ready. Some days we are just sitting at the machines or packing up bags to go out. The light in the building is okay, but we usually have the big overheads on so we can see what we are doing with the stitching. It gets loud when the traffic outside picks up, especially during the monsoon when the subway area gets blocked. We just keep our heads down and get through the list for the day. Sometimes we have tea together near the window and watch the cars go by on S. V. Road. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, just doing the clothing work that needs to be done every day. We’ve been here for several years now and the routine doesn't really change much.
