World Tradelink Exports

Our office is tucked away at 308 in the Steel Centre. It is a busy place where the phone seems to ring just when you sit down with a cup of tea. World Tradelink Exports has been here for a while now. The building is older, and you can hear the city noise coming through the windows most afternoons. We spend a lot of time looking at shipping documents and talking to people about where their goods need to go. It isn't a fancy setup with modern furniture or anything like that. We have some old desks and plenty of files stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the lift in the Steel Centre acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. The air conditioning hums in the corner, trying its best to keep the humidity away from the paperwork. Most days are just about making sure the exports are moving as they should. We know the neighbors in the other offices, and we usually say hello in the hallway. It’s just a regular working day for us here. We don’t really do big meetings; we just get on with the tasks at hand. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through folders or checking the computer screens. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being in this part of town despite the traffic and the noise from the street below.
