We are right on Military Road, right across from Blossom Society in Marol. Sandeep Metalcraft has been in this spot for quite a while. Marol is a busy area, lots of shops and people moving around. Our workshop is usually noisy because of the metal hitting metal. It’s not a place for a quiet chat. We have different sections for cutting and welding. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't come out. It’s just the nature of the work. Most of the guys here have been doing this for a long time. They don’t need to be told what to do. We keep a stash of raw materials in the back. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on the street because it’s narrow. We have to help them guide the trucks in. It’s a bit of a headache. The office is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs and an old computer. We don't spend much time in there. We’d rather be out where the work is happening. In the monsoon, the roof leaks a little in one corner, so we move the stuff away from there. It’s a simple setup. We just make parts and ship them out to whoever needs them. No big fuss. It’s what we know how to do. We just keep the hammers going.
