Samrat Beads

We are located at 15, Bada Mandir Gao Shan, which is right in the middle of 3rd Bhoiwada on Chandi Galli. The streets here are very narrow and can be quite difficult to navigate if you are not used to them. We specialize in beads of every shape and size you can imagine. Our shop is filled with hundreds of glass jars and small plastic bags, all packed with different colored beads. It takes a lot of patience to sort through them all, and we often spend our afternoons doing exactly that. You can always hear the sounds from the Bada Mandir nearby, which is quite nice during the busy parts of the day. We don't have any big windows, so it stays a bit dark inside, but we have plenty of lamps to help us see the small details. The walls are lined with wooden shelves that my grandfather built many years ago. They are a bit dusty, but they hold a lot of weight. We don't do any fancy packaging; we just put the beads in simple bags for our customers. Most of the people who come here are craftspeople or jewelry makers from the local area. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory well. It’s a small, quiet business tucked away in a corner of the city, and we like it that way.
